Read Up on JUVÉDERM

Read about its benefits. Would you please read about the way that it’s administered? Read about any possible dangers it might cause.
While JUVÉDERM is a primarily helpful substance, it’s not without its downsides. A variety of potential side effects accompany JUVÉDERM®, including tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching.
By garnering information such as this, you can ensure that you’re sure about going through the procedure.
Schedule Your Appointment at an Appropriate Time
Getting JUVÉDERM can sometimes be an anxiety-inducing and stressful experience.
Schedule your procedure on a fairly laid-back day that allows plenty of “downtime” both before it begins and after.
It’s a good idea for new patients to schedule their first appointments in the morning. By doing so, you don’t have to endure a long, potentially anxious wait.
Ask Your Doctor About Your Medications
The fact of the matter is that some medications don’t mix well with JUVÉDERM. If you’re on medications, you need to discuss them with your doctor. In some cases, you’ll be advised to stay on them; in other cases, you’ll be advised to stop taking them for the time being.
Some medications don’t go well with JUVÉDERM, including aspirin, ibuprofen, blood thinners, muscle relaxers, and allergy meds. If you’re taking these medications, you’ll need to be off of them in the days leading up to and the days following your appointment. Again, please consult your doctor before this or any procedure.

JUVÉDERM FILLERS Injections don’t require any recovery time. Therefore, you won’t have to take off work or school. You can resume your usual activities right after.
Wait 24 hours to Exercise
If exercise is part of your daily routine, wait at least 24 hours to work out. Your doctor might suggest waiting for several days.
Physical activity increases blood flow. This could potentially spread the toxin to unintended areas and reduce its effectiveness at the injection site. It also increases the risk of bruising.
However, it’s safe to do facial exercises like:
These movements can help the effects of JUVÉDERM show up sooner.
Go Makeup-Free
If you received a JUVÉDERM injection in your face, take a break from makeup for 24 hours.
Sit Up
Sit up for the first 4 hours after getting JUVÉDERM.
Ask Your Doctor About Medications
Some medications might increase your risk of bruising. Be sure to ask your doctor when it’s safe to start retaking them.
