LASER RESURFACING (LASER SKIN RESURFACING)

Laser Skin Resurfacing removes skin layer by layer with precision. The new skin cells that form during healing give the skin a tighter, younger-looking surface. The procedure can be done alone or with other cosmetic surgeries on the face.

Lasers are monochromatic (mono meaning “one,” and chromo meaning “color”). Monochromatic means that a given laser emits light of only one wavelength (or color) of light. Lasers work in cosmetic applications through a process called “selective photothermolysis.”

Selective Photothermolysis means that it modulates the frequency of light (photo) to produce heat (Thermo) in the specific area of the corresponding thing you wish to destroy (lysis).

The wavelength of the light beam must be in sync with the color of the target, whether that be brown spots, unsightly red broken capillaries, or some other undesirable skin condition.

ACNE LASER RESURFACING TREATMENT

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

A laser produces a beam of highly concentrated light. The light emitted is well absorbed by the pigment located in hair follicles. The laser pulses for a fraction of a second, just long enough to vaporize the pigment, disabling numerous follicles at a time to eliminate or significantly impede the hair’s growth. 

CO2 LASER TREATMENT

Skin is treated with a series of CO2 Laser Treatment pulses to enhance skin tone and texture, eliminate the effects of the sun resulting in aging of the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and smooth out unsightly scars.

ROSACEA TREATMENT
