SANDIA SKIN FACE OUR STORY
We are a husband and wife team, and we love working together to offer patients comprehensive cosmetic solutions. We started Sandia Skin + Face in the summer of 2018 as a natural extension of Sandia Oral Surgery (established in 2009). We work as a team to provide tailored non-surgical and surgical solutions for each patient.
We met in high school in Oklahoma and married before our senior year of college at Abilene Christian University. Tonya graduated with a BBA in accounting. She worked as a CPA and in the accounting industry for ten years before pursuing a career in medicine. In 2021 Tonya graduated with a Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University. Eric graduated from dental school in 2005 and completed an Oral and Maxillofacial residency at the University of Oklahoma in 2009, which included extensive anesthesia and facial surgery training.
We moved to Albuquerque in 2009 and enjoyed the beautiful weather and outdoor activities Albuquerque offers. We have three daughters who work in our practice during the summer. We both enjoy tennis, hiking, and traveling in our free time. Our family attends Calvary Church, and a highlight in our lives is going on mission trips as a family to provide free medical service.
