Typically, a week before any dermal filler treatment, most physicians will advise their patients to stop:

● Anti-inflammatory medications like Motrin and Aleve,
● Blood thinners like aspirin, ibuprofen, Gingko Biloba, Ginseng Garlic and Fish Oil

● Stop drinking alcohol 1-2 days before injections

● Take Arnica Montana 2-3 days before treatment. Arnica is a dietary supplement that can reduce bleeding and inflammation. Always consult your doctor before changing medications.
