How should I prepare for my Moxi Laser Treatment?

Use sunscreen and physical sun protection. Avoid sun exposure and sunless tanners for at least 5 days before treatment.
Discontinue all retinol products 3-5 days before your appointment.
If you’ve taken Accutane in the past 12 months, notify your provider.
If you have Melasma, use Tranexamic Acid or the recommended products for at least 2 -4 weeks before treatment.
If you have a history of cold sores (HSV), you’ll need prophylactic medication before the procedure. Reschedule if you have an active cold sore.

What should I do after my Moxi Laser Treatment?

Cleanse your skin twice daily with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser starting the morning after treatment. Avoid scrubbing or using exfoliants.
Stay hydrated and apply moisturizer frequently. Avoid any unapproved products on the treated area.
Use a physical sunscreen with SPF 30+ daily for at least 3 months.
Redness and warmth are normal and may last several days. Use cold compresses for relief.
