Sciton ClearSilk is the perfect lunch-time facial in preparation for an event or just to look flawless.

Sciton ClearSilk is often called the “Lunchtime Facial” for its quick and easy application, patients can enjoy this treatment year round to improve luminosity, diffuse redness, and revitalize the skin’s overall appearance. Our patients often describe the treatment as relaxing and therapeutic as they experience only a gentle warming of the skin during the procedure. Results continue to improve the more treatments a patient receives.

Sciton ClearSilk is a great first laser treatment and the treatment of choice for patients of all skin types who are looking to have no downtime and resume their daily activities immediately following treatment. Its uniform, non-ablative heating ensure beautiful, reliable results.

One: Measure Distance

A perfectly placed infrared sensor monitors the temperature of the skin for the safest and most effective laser energy delivery.

Two: Measure Temperature

Lights on the side of the handpiece indicate the skin’s temperature between 32-42° C to improve the speed of treatment while simultaneously conserving patient comfort.

Three: Visual Distance Guide

Two visible laser beams converge into a single point on the skin when the Sciton ClearSilk handpiece is held at the correct distance. This ensures proper focus of the invisible 1064nm treatment beam.

Sciton ClearSilk is a gentle, non-ablative laser treatment that produces subtle, buildable results for patients of all skin types. During treatment, ClearSilk deposits heat energy deep within the dermis.

The Sciton ClearSilk Laser produces a clean, layer-by-layer vaporization of skin in areas where there are pigmentation problems, fine lines, and wrinkles. ClearSilk eliminates old, tired-looking layers of skin and rejuvenates the collagen layer, which promotes the formation of new, healthy skin cells.

The Sciton ClearSilk™ treatment is recommended as a series of 4-6 visits spaced every 3-4 weeks apart. The ClearSilk treatment time will be around 15 minutes depending on the areas treated that day. The ClearSilk treatment is utilized for face, neck, or chest typically, however a specific treatment regimen will be created with your provider during consult.

The ClearSilk treatment time depends on the size of the area treated, but on average can be performed in less than 30 minutes making it an ideal candidate for a lunch-time treatment.

Yes. Sciton ClearSilk is a great first laser treatment and the treatment of choice for patients of all skin types who are looking to have no downtime and resume their daily activities immediately following treatment. ClearSilk gives uniform, non-ablative heating ensure beautiful, reliable results.

A single ClearSilk treatment can cost anywhere from $500 to $750, depending on where you live (expect to pay more in major cities) and who does your treatment. Some providers will offer a discount if you buy multiple treatments at once, which isn’t a bad idea since most people benefit from multiple treatments.

You’ll see noticeable improvement after a single treatment with full results after the full series of treatments. With regular maintenance treatments you will continue to achieve flawless, glowing skin!

Before your facial aesthetics treatment, use a gentle face cleanser using a calming face wash to remove makeup and dirt. Avoid face wipes that contain alcohol and chemicals as it will dry out the skin. Ensure your hands are clean and use lukewarm water and once finished, use a clean towel to pat the skin dry.

Patients are able to resume daily activities immediately following treatment. With any laser or light treatment, there is a chance of minor redness and swelling after treatment. Patients often leave with a flushed appearance, which resolves itself within a few hours

The results of ClearSilk treatment are immediate and seen after the first treatment. However, the ClearSilk benefits compound after a second treatment scheduled four weeks later. How long does ClearSilk last? You can expect the benefits of ClearSilk treatment to continue improving six months after your second treatment. The most drastic improvement you will notice after treatment occurs roughly 12 weeks after your second treatment.

Pre-Treatment Instructions

  • Wear clothing that is comfortable. We recommend wearing clothing that is easy to change in and out of.
  • Wear your makeup. Or don’t. Either way your esthetician will cleanse your skin as part of any of our facial treatments.
  • Skip any strong at-home facial treatments the week before your appointment and any exfoliation treatments a few days prior. Your esthetician will be providing this crucial step as part of your facial treatment.
  • Stay out of the sun and away from tanning for five days before your facial. Sun damage and skin do not mix and should always be avoided; but escpecially before your service.
  • Know the names of the skin care products you are using at home. Bring a list if you need to so you can discuss it with your esthetician. Having these details will help the esthetician make recommendations products you may want to add or delete from your at-home routine.
  • Let your esthetician know any medications, medical conditions, and/or past skin conditions you may have had. Even over-the-counter medications can affect your skin, so it is good for them to know what may be contributing to your concerns and the way your skin reacts to certain products.
  • Are you getting your skin ready for a big event? If you’ve never had a facial before and don’t know how your skin will respond, our licensed estheticians recommend scheduling an appointment about six weeks in advance with a follow-up appointment closer to your event date. This way you have time to address any negative skin reactions and get the maximum results from your service. Don’t have that much time? That’s okay. Our experienced staff can recommend a service that will help you put your best face forward.
  • Be prepared to discuss your skin concerns and what your goals might be. Your esthetician is a licensed expert in skin and skin care so they will help you with a specific regime of treatments and products to achieve your goals.
