Dr. Tuggles’ preferred method of Surgical Brow Lift is “transfollicular” because his procedure hides the scar within the hairline.
The basis of the Transfollicular (or trichophytic) technique is a precision incision that allows the hair follicles to regrow through the scar. The transfollicular method results in an incision scar that is barely noticeable. The diagram illustrates how the hair follicles grow through the precision incision.
